USPS shipping calculator
Compare a GetStamps.cc shipping estimate with Pirate Ship and available USPS retail pricing. No account required.
These are estimates, not purchase quotes
The GetStamps.cc estimate is the estimated postage price through GetStamps.cc, shown alongside a Pirate Ship estimate when available and an available Post Office retail estimate. Prices can change; your full shipping address and package details are confirmed when you buy a label.
Use the interactive ZIP-to-ZIP shipping calculator on this page with JavaScript enabled. Enter origin and destination ZIP codes, package weight in pounds plus optional extra ounces, and length, width and height in inches to compare current USPS estimates. Before submitting, the origin and destination ZIP codes, package weight and dimensions, and selected USPS service are sent to Pirate Ship for comparison. Use your own box or another rigid parcel only.
How to calculate shipping costs
- Enter the ZIP code you’re shipping from and the destination ZIP code.
- Weigh the packed parcel and enter pounds plus optional extra ounces. For example, 2 lbs and 8 oz. For parcels under one pound, enter 0 lbs.
- Measure its outside length, width and height in inches.
- Choose a USPS service or compare available services, then get your estimate.
Ground Advantage or Priority Mail?
Ground Advantage is generally the lower-cost option. Priority Mail is generally faster. Availability and the actual rate depend on your route and parcel; the service descriptions are not delivery guarantees.
Compare shipping prices
The results show the GetStamps.cc estimate, a Pirate Ship estimate when the unofficial connection is available, and a Post Office retail estimate when a comparable value is available. Any difference is shown only when a Pirate Ship comparison is returned. Pirate Ship comparisons use the same ZIP codes, weight, dimensions and USPS service; an unavailable comparison is not treated as a price. The source is the official Pirate Ship calculator. None of these estimates is a live purchase guarantee—confirm final postage when purchasing a label.
Is the shipping calculator free?
Yes. You can check an estimate without signing in, depositing money or buying postage. You’ll need an account to purchase a shipping label.
Why can the final shipping cost change?
ZIP-to-ZIP estimates do not verify the full delivery address. Rates may change before checkout, and inaccurate package measurements can lead to later carrier adjustments. Use the weight and dimensions of your packed parcel.
